Watching the hurricane powered sea you have to be amazed about the balance of mother nature. There is usually a balance of oposing forces and a calm is usually present before the storm. It does not make sense how people can not apply the same idea to their health. They take medicines to eliminate the symptoms and only push their problem deeper. The old saying what you resist will persist apply to the conventional medical system today. Medications either block a physiologic process or stimulate a process, but never provide true balance that lead to healing of the body. Today I was listening to a professional golfer discussed how a chemotherapeutic agent helped him tremendously with his arthritis. This diatribe was followed by the side effects including increased risk of infection, cancer, gastrointestinal symptoms, and you guess it ……death. If you ever planted a garden you need soil, sunshine, water, fertilizer, hoe, and plenty of love. The reason our convential food is so deadly is because we do not rely on nature to work, and do not use the fallow ground principle. We are always trying to improve on what God has given us and temporary it works but does it really?
We must replace what is missing in our diet and remove the “snakes ” that are destroying our health such as refined sugar foods, artificial sweetner foods, taste enhancers, high fructose corn syrup, gmo foods and trans fats. We must learn to exercise our creative mind and body and avoid the instant gratification factor. Most of all we must cultivate the spiritual man which was present in medicine of the 1700 and 1800 but replaced with the idea of scientific dogma that relies only on man. Our health is balanced by taking responsibilty, self value, and promoting life instead of death. When you go to have your screening exam is it based on empowering or creating fear. For example , do you hear them say have your colonoscopy today to see how healthy you are or do you hear them give the story of a 30 year old who died from colon cancer which they stated could have been prevented. We must treat our body like growing a garden and with proper nurturing we will never regret the outcome.
